Virgin Voyages

10+ local destinations all year around

We have had our Planetdwellers team working hard now on two Virgin Voyages out of Australia, recently including the amazing Mermaiden cruise from Melbourne to Hobart and Burnie.

The food is a complete standout with such beautiful restaurants in many parts of the ship, all with stunning views and dedicated staff providing amazing service at sea.

Favourites so far have been "The Wake" for seafood and steak, "Gunbae" for our Korean fabulousness and vibrancy and fun food and the delicious and naughty

"Lick me till I scream" ice creamery.

The Buffet concept is gone and is replaced by a thoroughfare of food options in the Galley on level 15, plenty of tables even if it means sharing with a stranger those

stunning outdoor and ocean views.

For those new to cruising this ship with it's Adults only ideas brings a nice balance with it being a real hotel at sea, all feeling boutique and spacious

with a cosiness to it all at the same time.

The onboard entertainment is camp, colourful and fun and the main stage is the pool on the Red Scarlet night that every sailing gets to enjoy.

We dressed up in our Reds and danced, shimmied and sashayed all around the pool area with a drink in hand of course, then the party got moved to one of the

large theatrettes called the Manor but maybe it should have been to the Red Room, makes sense doesn't it.

Onboard prices are all charged in USD which can add up once onboard if you are not remembering that it is not in AUD, but prices for drinks and any extra food treats

are reasonable especially for bottles of wines at dinner times. Massages and the Spa are a little on the pricey side so keep an eye for any onboard specials and take advantage

as the redemption spa space is next level stunning.

The cabins are very modern feeling with minimalists touches, our Central Sea terrace was good for 1 or 2 and the red hammock on the terrace was just perfect.

One of our clients was staying in a Mega Rock Star Suite and let me just say, Jealous!!  it was over the top amazing, super generous size indoors and out, A mini bar that

gets replenished as you use it, return transfers, extra onboard credits and daily bottles of wine to use up, really well worth the extra money.

Finally the staff and service are spot on, super friendly and attentive and at the same time never seems fake or intrusive and that I love, but even more to love is the

diverse backgrounds, genders, sexualities and the genuineness that comes across that Virgin is allowing them to be themselves 100%, tattoos, piercing and bright hair colours and all.

So when you are ready to have a holiday at sea in a boutique hotel offering with next level entertainment, a casual vibe and food that will scream Food Porn then contact us

to book your own Virgin Voyages sail away.  We loved it.
